I went for a hike today and although no snakes were found, the habitat is nothing short of incredible. I thought it was worth a few pics. I might also add that I almost suffered a heart attack on this trip when a huge turkey flew out of the weeds about three feet from me lol.

Habitat:




I found two Eastern Garters at this lake yesterday, one being an extremely BLUE colored individual. Of course my camera battery was dead that day though.



A salamander of some sort, I guess I'll call it a "Red Back" for now lol.

No, I didn't see the skull laying around anywhere. And I'm guessing it was a deer skeleton by the size of it but I'm not 100% sure.
