REXANO Zuzana Kukol

The author of Rexano is a tiger breeder who lives with a circus tiger tamer,
who is one of the Fercos Brothers. Rexano is the acronym for Responsible
Exotic Animal Owners, which is a contradiction in terms. Responsible people
don't have tigers as pets. Every year they try to get import and export
permits to move tigers in and out of the US under the guise of needing them
in the circus act. Every year I write to USFWS asking that they not issue
the permits because it just makes it easier for these people to move tigers
in the illegal trade. The US is the second largest consumer of tiger parts.
As a result Zuzana Kukol has made a career of trying to discredit me and Big
Cat Rescue. The only exposure she and her ilk can ever get for their barrage
of half truths and misinformation, like the doctored documents they post, is
by posting in the comments section at the end of any place that posts an
article about the good work Big Cat Rescue does. They claim that their
documents are USDA reports, but USDA doesn't keep such records and anyone
who checks with USDA will find that they didn't get any of what they have
posted from them. The problem is that most people won't check and many
people will just believe what they are told.

Part of what makes us so credible today is that we know how the breeders and
dealers operate and have exposed them and their practices. Our history has
always been open about how we learned from our mistakes and changed as soon
as we learned. We are now being criticized by those who know better, but
still continue to breed and sell and their only argument is that we used to
be like them; although frankly, never that bad. Our history is here:

Our opponents often claim that we want to be the biggest cat zoo and that to
do so we have to run them all out of business, which flies in the face of
common sense. If we want to rescue more cats then we need people like them
breeding, abusing and discarding so we can do that. (I am sure that sentence
would be taken out of context and used somewhere Wink

) The fact is, and it
is stated over and over on our site, in our articles, in our videos, in our
media interviews and every chance we get: We are working to put ourselves
out of business.

Big cats don't belong in cages and we won't quit until the rest of the world
understands that these animals are just too magnificent to be caged for our
amusement or education.

That day is coming and every day I am more encouraged as I see the shift
occurring. It is only the comfort of knowing that one day exotic cats will
no longer be confined to cages that enables me to withstand the slanderous
accusations of those who never want the abuse to end.

I'm now convinced there's not a brain inside of her head. Clearly you're getting through to her, getting under her skin, and making a major impact on her operation. Complaining and saying everything negative about you is false is a typical reaction from someone who is desperately trying to conceal something and play a high school-like popularity game. I really can't stand these people who do not understand coexistence and tolerance of different points of view. It's highly ironic, also, that she no longer wants to see big cats in cages, yet has dozens upon dozens of them caged up in her own operation and welcomes more. "Do what I say, not as I do". Classic.
