I like the second gecko's collor way more than the top one. It is not in shed - it's its color. I think it's very pretty. I would defintelly pick that one. I think it's called Grey, or sometime they called Lavender too. However it's a baby the color will probably still change. Also the color between day and night varies. Either way it's a pretty gecko.
About the cage - it depends on your house. Crested geckos do not like too high temperatures. They don't actually need light and prefer not having it at all. But if your house is warm and you are putting light in it get the open air cage - that doesn't hold temperature as much as the glass one.
If your house is cold get the glass cage.
