this is my common snapper. i found him while i was mowing the lawn at work right next to a busy four lane road! no body of water for a very long way.lucky for him me moved and cought my eye. if i didnt see him in time the mower would have tested his hatchling shell to the limit.

| thanks! the oscar is now in his own tank. even the 530 gph POOL filter cant keep up with the waste that both these guys put out. now that they are seperated water changes went down to every 2 weeks. in the process of building indoor pond for mr turtle cant wait till its done so i can post some pics. i also took the rocks out of his tank, in fear he would develope sores or even worse, wedge himselfe between them breaking the tank. hes VERY strong, and VERY fast i have to keep a close eye on him when i take him outside for some natural sun.

funny story. my camera is kaput just wouldnt turn on one day. it was cheap anyways.
im trying to find a 200-300 gallon horse trough for a good price. then ill enclose the area with a chicken coop like setup . however im not going to use chicken coop wire as these guys are known to climb fences and i wouldnt want him to get hurt.
