well my birthday was Sunday Feb. 24th and my parents got me a crested gecko 
here is the gecko im getting. i havent gotten it yet. s/he is arriving Tuesday. i am getting him from dirtystinkystuff.com so this is their picture that they emailed me to see what i was buying.
here is his/her cage
ill post more pics once he/she gets here and settles in.
what do you think?

| do i need a water dish? i thought it would just drink the water droplets off the leaves. i got a food dish today at the pet store. it is one of those stump looking ones. it fell off the counter when i got home tho and broke a little. i might still try to use it tho. what do you feed yours in?

well, normally cresties will just drink from water droplettes but it is a good idea to offer a small dish with water any way. As far as food, i normally put some babyfood on some random leaves and branches to make him look for it, but meal worms i put into a little dish...its a tiny little ceramic dish i got for like 50 cents at the petstore.

my gecko just got here at around 10:00 this morning. he is so cute!! i gave him a small bowl of water and misted him. when the water hit his face he started to lick his face and eyes. it was soooo cute!!
ill get pics this weekend. i was told not to feed or handle him till friday so ill get pics then.

i just fed him. i never knew how fast they were! he is a good jumper too.
after him trying to escape while on my bed i moved him back to his cage and put some CGD on a leaf. he eventually ate 1/3 of what i made for him. i used a 1/4tsp measure spoon and used 1 scoop of diet and 2 of water.
here are some pics. i didnt get any of him eating because i didnt have my cam with me. i got some of him running around afterwards tho.

where is Zazu in this pic? he blends in well.

after this pic he decided to jump at the camera lol
he missed tho and landed on this plant. then ran in the plant to hide.
