Well, I picked up my first front fanged venomous snake yesterday at the local herp show. It is a beautiful female? Southern Copperhead. Many thanks go out to Dan at Chaos Reptiles for picking it up for me at Hamburg and bringing it down to the Mars, PA show. I didn't want to bother her too much, but here are a few quick pics I snapped today.

I didn't have any trouble getting her out of the container at all Dan. I put it in a garbage can and then carefully popped off the lid all the way around then slid it off with a hook. I then hooked her from the garbage can into the cage without any problems at all, although I'm guessing that's only because she was probably taken by surprise. I noticed she was quite a bit more jumpy the next day if I got too close to the cage. _________________ Dylan Lutz
