This is one of my Bengals! The scratched paint on the wall behind him is the result of the vigorous use of their cat wheel! I'll post a photo of said cat wheel with one of my Sokokes guarding it.

enjoy,
Raven

He's under 20 pounds. Maine Coons and Norwegian Forest Cats generally get bigger than Bengals. With the exceptions of first generation Safaris and High Percentage Savannahs, the MC and NFCs are the biggest of the cat breeds.

I'll try and get some photos to help show size. I have lots of photos, including some of my Maine Coons, who are bigger than my exotics. I tried to post a funny picture of my Sokoke guarding the cat wheel, but for some reason it didn't post. I'll try again. Sokoke's are fairly small.

cheers,

New attempt to post photo of Sokoke guarding the much loved cat wheel. This is what damaged the paint in the Bengal photo. Keep your fingers crossed!

This is a Sokoke, a totally different breed. They come from the Arabuku/Sokoke forest in Kenya Africa. They are considered a domestic. They are an extremely rare breed of cat and there are only a few owners in the United States. We may be the only owners in our state.

The theory is that they are some type of feral that breeds true to type, though Dr. Richard Leaky believed them to be the Taita Wildcat.

best wishes,

They might weigh around 10 pounds, though I'll have to weigh them to get a better idea. I'll be posting a few more photos of the Sokokes and others.

best wishes,

oh. out Norwegian forest cats are not pure breed. our smaller female is around 16 pounds and out big boy is around 25. we have not weighed them in a while so it might be different now.

i look forward to seeing more pics of your cats.
