Love the little hatchling Leopard Tortoise. I really want a sub adult red foot or yellow foot just as a pet.

i like tortoises. i was thinking of getting one as a pet but someone told me they are not legal to own where i live. do you know if they are legal in Maryland or not? or where i could find out if they are legal.

As far as I know its legal to own Tortoises in Maryland, but to be safe you should contact your local DNR office. Here is the address, Im sure you can locate a phone number online for them as well.

Awww, glad I looked around the site and saw your pics. Sweet. A 'fun' divorce quite a few years ago forced me to have to sell most of what I had, sure do miss having them around. Pics help! Thx
