I don't think Carole understands the laws behind defamation. She is technically a public figure, thus making proving defamation on her very difficult due to the harsher than normal requirements. She's an activist, owner of a large public organization, has appeared on Animal Planet and other media outlets, gets involved online, operates multiple websites, and more thus solidifying the public figure notion. If I were a lawyer I definitely wouldn't want to be running a defamation lawsuit for her because the way the law looks at public figures. Hell, the 'wheelchair lady' in Gettysburg was in for a shocker when she found out she was technically a public figure too due to her activist activities. She was mad about signs and bad comments online about her, most in which still remain.

Things would be much better if Carole saw the light and went back to their pre-1995 position of being a breeder, education resource, and contributor to exotic animals instead of the activist herself and organization have adopted these days.

I have to say though, you're seriously getting under her skin especially with the BBB thing. People that start freaking out like this, crying defamation, and getting hyper-defensive generally are on the path to a nose dive as what we've learned with lawyer Jack Thompson, who was just found guilty of 27 out of 31 counts and will be disbarred shortly. I remember when he went crazy against some media organizations and even an online comic/cartoon! He was also pretty surprised to realize his anti-video game activist actions landed him in the public figure spotlight too.

the best defense against defamation is the truth, which part accordign to BCR is defamatory an lie???
it is just copy/paste of their old sell/buy ads ad copy/paste of BBB statement
